So...long time no see...

There's this guy who likes to be called DJ Krush. Real name - Hideaki Ishii. Hails from Japan. Used to be Yakuza. Discovered music in the 90's. Has spun with DJ Shadow, DJ Kensei, DJ Evil-DEE, and many more. He ingeniously combines traditional Japanese music with contemporary beats making music that the listener can't help but bob their head to. Give him a listen.

This is an insanely awesome movie that includes Radiohead playing songs from their album In Rainbows in a studio in Scotland. Its about an hour, so sit back, relax, and watch these melodic geniuses do what they do best in a whole new way.

Peter Bjorn & John

Peter Morén, Bjorn Yttling, and John Eriksson started as a small band in Sweden. "3 is a crowd," they'd say at their little gigs in Europe. Today, they are headlining festivals and playing huge venues. This punk/alternative/indie band is definitely one to look into. Here is their Myspace.
